Oguz-Gabala-Baku water pipeline is the last and hugest design that supplies Absheron-Peninsula with drinking water. Standard methods were used for determining of chemical characteristics of the drinking water. Al, Cr, Cu, Fe, Pb, Co, Ni, As, Cd contents samples were determined by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). The concentrations of metals in drinking water samples as follows: Al 11.7-16.79 μg/l; Cr 0.46-0.53μg/l; Cu 1.46-3.89μg/l; Fe 6.99-13.57μg/l; Pb 1.63-3μg/l; Co 0.018-0.19μg/l; Ni 1.83-1.89 μg/l; As 0.19-1.21μg/l; Cd 057μg/l. The concentrations heavy metals in the drinking water samples from Oguz-Gabala- Baku were with the permissible limits of the European Union Drinking Water Directive 98/83/EC and World Health Organization drinking water quality guidelines.
